REGRETS is an unconventional comedy-drama in that it begins as a comedy and progresses into a drama, unlike most comedy-dramas where comedy is blended in with drama. The play focuses on the struggle all of us have when we find ourselves at a fork in the road of life. Some take a path and never look back, regardless of the outcome. Some start down a path, change their minds, and decide to take the other route. And others take a path and are filled with regrets. Marty, a gay man in his thirties, takes the path that leads to regrets-not only for him but those of his family. REGRETS takes place around Thanksgiving over a period of years at Marty's condominium in San Francisco. It is a play that explores the depths of one's feelings that are often hidden from friends and family. It is sure to provoke a wide range of feelings and will take the audience on a journey of laughter and tears. Act One introduces a playful Marty laughing with his best friend as they prepare for Thanksgiving dinner with his zany mother and inattentive father. In Act Two, Marty realizes that he isn't going to meet anyone, won't have the family he always dreamed of, and can no longer count on his family or friends. At the end of the act he kills himself. During Act Three, Marty's family and friends are visited by his spirit who tells them why he committed suicide. He also tells his best friend, Nancy, that he left her a gift, ending the play with surprising results. |

DAYS GONE BY is a screenplay about a young man named Will who goes back to his hometown in Grove Valley, CA because his grandfather is dying. As he is dying, Will’s grandfather begs him to help his Uncle Pete who has been imprisoned for the last ten years. Will realizes that there’s more to his grandfather’s wish after discussing it with his grandmother. Although everyone around him encourages him to forget about his grandfather’s wish, Will can’t stop thinking about it and what his grandfather meant. What Will doesn’t realize is that his life as he has known it was based on lies. Days may have gone by, but what happened in the past comes rushing forward and changes Will’s life forever. Sometimes we learn from the past. Sometimes the past is best untold. Which path would you choose to follow?
